PMO Project Planner needed by global financial services company for 12 month fixed term contract. This is a key role for an MS Project guru.

Role involves:

• Creating, maintaining, reporting and managing detailed project plans across multiple large concurrent projects
• Developing processes and procedures for the implementation of new project management planning standards
• Acting as the planning standards Subject Matter Expert (SME)  
• Providing coaching and support to project staff on planning-related tasks
• Carrying out quality checks on plans and schedules to ensure compliance with best practice
• Identifying continuous improvement opportunities and implementing improvements to project schedule templates

Ideal candidate will be:

• Highly proficient in MS Project
• Highly experienced in creating and managing project plans for large & complex projects/programs
• Have proven experience developing & refining planning processes and procedures within a financial services environment
• Have a keen understanding of the software development lifecycle, agile methodologies and how to apply these
• Experienced in coaching coleagues
• Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment

Hybrid role. Ideally 1 day per week in the Redhill office.
