KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Commis Chef for our client offering fantasic opportunities to the successful candidates. The vacany will have a base location with the option to work between 3 other sites within a 10 mile radius.

As a Commis Chef you will be working 5 out of 7 days a week; working flexible working hours. This would total up to 40 hours a week.

The rate of pay as a Commis Chef is:

• £15.20 per hour

   As a Commis Chef your duties and resposibilities are:

• Working underneath an experienced Head Chef
• Preparing meals for breakfast etc
• Serving the meals
• Preparing the fresh food items
• Cleaning the kitchen after meals
• Ensure the highest level of customer care
• Ensuring food is recovered and stored at the correct tempurates

   As a Commis Chef you will need:

• Full UK Driving License
• Able to provide 2 references
• Excellent time keeping skills
• Commis Chef level experience with opportunity to progress
• Flexible with working hours
• Recent work expeirence in a kitchen environment
• Good communicator, able to liaise confidently with customers and engage with team members
• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
• Enthusiastic with a passion for working in a food service environment
• High standards of personal hygiene
• Able to work positively with others as part of a team
• Able to work flexibly in line with business requirements
• Basic Food Hygiene/ Level 2 (preferred)
• NVQ Level 2 in professional cookery or equivalent
