Accounts Assistant

8-5pm with 1 hour for lunch

Salary £32-34k

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing labour-only subcontractor payroll.
• Managing supply chain payments, including CIS and retention deductions.
• Producing and collating financial reporting data.
• Maintaining supply chain compliance.
• Managing rebate agreements and payments.
• Supporting financial and commercial claims or investigations.
• Acting as the first point of contact for supply chain payment queries and chasing payments.
• Assisting the Commercial Team with chasing late payments.
• Collating all claimed retentions.
• Collating all completed project final account applications.
• Chasing historic and current outstanding debts.
• Collating CVs and maintaining the candidate database.
• Assisting with cost information for forecasting.
• Sending reminders to Quantity Surveyors (QSs) for monthly tasks.
