TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in Bradford, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher. The school supports pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2, including children with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities / SEND, with a focus on providing an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

The school is looking to take on a flexible Primary Teacher for day-to-day supply cover, with an immediate start available. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum, adapting teaching methods to support pupils with a mixture of SEND needs, maintaining effective classroom management and ensuring all children are supported in their learning and development.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 / KS1 or Key Stage 2 / KS2 in a UK primary school

• Experience supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities / SEND

• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and inclusive teaching strategies

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• A positive, patient and adaptable approach to teaching, with the ability to meet the needs of all learners
