Ideal Candidate – Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant:
The Role – Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant: As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with pupils aged 4–11 who have a range of additional needs, including learning difficulties, autism, ADHD, and social or emotional challenges. You’ll provide personalised 1:1 support, contribute to small-group intervention sessions, and work alongside class teachers to adapt activities, resources, and learning approaches so that every pupil has the opportunity to engage and make progress. You’ll become an important part of the school’s wider support team, helping pupils develop academically while also encouraging their confidence, communication, independence, and social development. This Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for graduates who want to gain meaningful, long-term experience within SEN education before progressing into teacher training or specialist support roles.
