Warehouse Operative / Parcel Sorter

Winner Recruitment is recruiting Warehouse Operatives and Parcel Sorters to join the team at our esteemed client in CV8 3EE.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for people who enjoy practical work and staying active throughout their shift. No two shifts are exactly the same, and full training is provided.

The role

Your duties will include:

• Sorting parcels on manual conveyor belts
• Loading and unloading trailers
• Using pump trucks to move pallets and goods safely
• Moving parcels safely around the warehouse
• Preparing items for onward delivery
• Working as part of a busy warehouse team
• Following all site and manual-handling procedures

Please note: This is a physically demanding role involving frequent lifting and movement. Parcels vary in size and weight, with some weighing up to 40 kg. Safe lifting procedures, team handling and available equipment must be used whenever required.

Shifts

The site operates every day except Saturday. Typical shift times are:

• Day shift: 11:00 am–7:00 pm
• Night shift: 7:00 pm–3:00 am

Shift times and staffing requirements may vary depending on parcel volumes.

Full-time availability is preferred. We can also consider students who can commit to approximately 20 hours per week.

What we’re looking for

You will be well suited to this role if you:

• Are comfortable carrying out physical work throughout your shift
• Can safely lift and move parcels of different sizes
• Are reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Can work efficiently in a busy warehouse environment
• Are flexible when shift requirements change
• Are committed to following all safety procedures
• Can wear the required PPE throughout your shift

Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not essential.
