We’re currently recruiting for a full-time Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Worsley Mesnes (WN3) to support working in their Year 6 class. This role is on a long-term basis starting immediately and is a temporary role. The full-time working hours are 08:30am- 15:30pm and you will have a 30-minute lunch break.

You’ll be joining a School where they support children to excel in a happy, safe and inclusive environment This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting across the Year 6 class, responding to all children’s individual needs
• Helping deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps
• Working alongside the class teacher on lesson planning and adapting resources
• Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong

Requirements or Skills:

• Recent experience working in a school or education setting
• Solid numeracy and literacy skills
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands-on experience
• Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
