About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Structural Steel Fabricator / Welder to join our team in Worcester.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding structural steel components to drawings and specifications, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
Fabricate structural steelwork from engineering drawings and specifications.

Carry out MIG/MAG welding of structural steel components.

Measure, mark out, cut, drill and prepare steel accurately for fabrication.

Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.

Assemble and weld steelwork to the required dimensions and tolerances.

Use workshop machinery and fabrication equipment safely and correctly.

Inspect completed work to ensure it meets the required quality standards.

Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area.

Follow all company health and safety procedures.

Work effectively as part of a team while also being capable of working independently.

Requirements
Previous experience in structural steel fabrication and welding.

Competent MIG/MAG welding skills.

Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.

Good understanding of steel fabrication processes.

Ability to accurately measure, mark out and assemble steelwork.

Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.

Relevant welding/fabrication qualifications are advantageous but not essential where practical experience is strong.
