Masstemps is currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a well-established and busy manufacturing company based near the Wednesbury area.

THE ROLE

• MIG Welding mild steel in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, butt weld)

• Interpret and work from basic engineering drawings

• Carry out preparation including cleaning, grinding, and tacking of components

• Experience with jig and fixture-based welding in a production setting

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience in MIG or (mild steel) to a good standard

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately

• Ideally needs experience using workshop machinery and tools (e.g. brake press, guillotine, hand/power tools)

HOURS OF WORK

Monday - Thursday 07:30am - 16:30pm

Friday 07:30am - 12:30pm

PAY RATE

£13.00ph - £13.50ph
