Location: Dobbs Ferry, NY
Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 + Bonus

About the Opportunity

We’re working with an exciting hospitality and entertainment concept in Dobbs Ferry, NY, seeking a hands-on and motivated Kitchen Manager to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a kitchen leader who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in food quality and consistency, and knows how to develop and support a strong back-of-house team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency.
• Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, creating a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and food safety.
• Manage kitchen scheduling, labor, inventory, and food costs.
• Work closely with the General Manager and front-of-house team to deliver an excellent guest experience.
• Support menu execution, kitchen procedures, and operational improvements.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant kitchen environment.
• Lead by example with a hands-on approach during busy service periods.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or similar leadership role.
• Strong experience in restaurants, hospitality, entertainment, or high-volume food service.
• Hands-on leader with excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Passionate about food quality, service standards, and team development.
• Comfortable working in a busy environment and supporting the team on the floor.
• Strong understanding of food safety, labor management, and cost control.
• Dine-in cinema or entertainment experience would be a bonus, but is not essential.
