Are you looking for a full-time Learning Support Assistant role where you can make a positive difference to students aged 4 to 19?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist setting in Frome that supports students aged 4 to 19 with severe, complex and moderate learning needs. The setting places students at the centre of their education, providing a nurturing and inclusive environment with a highly personalised approach to learning.

The setting is looking to take on a Learning Support Assistant on a temporary, full-time basis, supporting students with a range of additional learning needs. The successful Learning Support Assistant will work closely with teaching staff to provide individualised support, encourage engagement in learning and help students develop their confidence and independence.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with additional learning needs
• Experience working with severe, complex and/or moderate learning needs
• A patient and nurturing approach to supporting students
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to adapt support to meet individual students' needs
• A positive and proactive attitude
