TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery in Leicester that provides care and early years education for babies and toddlers. The nursery is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant who can create a safe, positive and engaging environment for the children in their care.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Assistant on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week from ASAP until the end of the year. The successful Nursery Assistant will support babies and toddlers with age-appropriate activities, learning and development, personal care routines and their day-to-day needs within the nursery.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• A relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
• At least 6 months’ experience working within a UK nursery
• Experience supporting babies and toddlers
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• The ability to work effectively as part of a nursery team
