Masstemps are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client’s busy warehouse operation in Redditch. The role involves working as part of a team to ensure products are accurately picked, packed and prepared for dispatch.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is reliable, hardworking and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking beauty and personal care products accurately from warehouse racking.
• Using a handheld scan gun/scanner to pick and process orders.
• Packing products into boxes ready for dispatch.
• Checking products and quantities against customer orders.
• Loading products safely and securely into boxes.
• Labelling and preparing completed orders for delivery.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working area.
• Following all warehouse health and safety procedures.
• Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous warehouse, picking and packing experience (preferred but not essential).
• Be comfortable using a handheld scanner or willing to learn.
• Have good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Be physically fit and comfortable with a role involving standing and moving products throughout the day.
• Be reliable and punctual.
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Be able to work well as part of a team.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm

Rate of pay: 

£12.71 per hour
