Warehouse Picker and Packer - Bolton

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Picker and Packer to join our well-established client based in Bolton on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity offering ongoing work, competitive rates of pay and the opportunity to become part of a supportive warehouse team.

This role would be suitable for candidates with experience as an Order Picker, Warehouse Operative or Warehouse Assistant.

Rates of Pay:

• £12.71 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 - 17:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a Warehouse Picker and Packer, you will work:

• Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Packing goods ready for dispatch
• Moving stock safely within the warehouse using correct handling techniques
• Assisting with goods-in and goods-out duties
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
• Following all Health and Safety procedures at all times
• Carrying out general warehouse duties as required
• Supporting colleagues across the warehouse operation when needed

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Warehouse Picker and Packer, you will need:

• Previous picking and packing experience
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• A reliable and punctual approach to work
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good organisational skills
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• The ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Training:

• Full on-site training provided
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
