Non-Working Site Manager - Marine & Port Structural Repairs

Location: South Wales
Contract: Long-term / Contract
Working Hours: Monday-Friday
Accommodation: Digs provided and paid for directly by the client

KPi Recruiting are currently seeking an experienced Non-Working Site Manager to join a major marine and port infrastructure project.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in marine, port or structural repair/refurbishment projects, with previous experience working under NEC contracts.

The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of a £1 million ferry approach refurbishment project, managing a team of six and coordinating subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations and site teams.

  • Coordinate subcontractors and site activities.

  • Manage project programmes and provide regular schedule updates.

  • Ensure compliance with NEC contract requirements.

  • Maintain high standards of Health & Safety across the project.

  • Liaise with the client and provide regular progress updates.

  • Monitor project progress, quality and delivery against programme.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager / Non-Working Site Manager.

  • Proven experience within marine, ports, civil engineering or structural refurbishment.

  • Strong understanding of NEC contracts.

  • Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.

  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.

  • Relevant construction/site management qualifications.

Contract & Benefits

  • Monday-Friday working pattern.

  • Current project running until January, with an expected extension through to the end of February.

  • Accommodation/digs provided and paid directly by the client.
