Key Account Manager (Coffee Shop Retail) - Leading Foodservice Equipment Business - Remote Field Based - £55K + Benefits

My client is a leading player in the Foodservice Equipment industry who have a fantastic reputation and an extremely exciting future. They are looking for talented individuals to join them on their next chapter.

They are seeking a Key Account Manager to join their sales team. The successful Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving growth, expanding market share and developing partnerships with a portfolio of Coffee Shop Retail accounts.

This is the perfect role for a high performing Sales Manager or Key Account Manager looking to join a reputable business who can offer greater responsibility and exposure, in order to progress their career.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic coffee shop chain and multi-site hospitality accounts.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with senior decision makers across procurement, operations, property and technical teams.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities within existing accounts and target new customers.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximise revenue, margin and customer retention.
• Lead commercial negotiations, tenders, quotations and contract discussions.
• Work closely with customers on new site openings, refurbishments, rollouts and equipment replacement programmes.
• Develop a strong understanding of each customer's estate, equipment requirements and future expansion plans.
• Work collaboratively with internal sales, technical, service, marketing and operations teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
• Provide customers with commercially compelling, technically appropriate equipment solutions.
• Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity and account profitability.
• Represent the business at customer meetings, industry exhibitions and relevant hospitality events.
• Keep up to date with developments across the coffee shop, hospitality and foodservice equipment markets.

The Ideal Key Account Manager Candidate:

• Proven experience managing coffee retail accounts.
• Must have strong negotiation skills and be able to demonstrate delivering results.
• Have knowledge of category and insights.
• Must have a track record of winning key accounts and maintaining strong relationships.
• Strong communication skills and previous experience of successfully leading a sales team.
• Have a structured approach with a clear view on hitting targets.
• Must have a full UK driving licence.
