A welcoming, community-focused primary school in Pontypridd is seeking passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join its team in a variety of roles across the school.

The Role

We are looking for flexible and adaptable Teaching Assistants who can work across all key stages and support pupils with a range of learning and pastoral needs. Successful candidates will have experience delivering targeted interventions and be confident supporting both individuals and small groups to achieve their full potential.

Whether working in Foundation Learning, Key Stage 2, or providing intervention support throughout the school, you will play a vital role in helping children succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

We Are Looking For Individuals Who:

  • Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school setting.
  • Have experience planning and delivering intervention programmes that positively impact pupil progress. (Advantageous not essential)
  • Are flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively across different year groups and key stages.
  • Demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills and can build positive relationships with pupils.
  • Show initiative, confidence, and the ability to work independently when required.
  • Are committed to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Have a positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting children's development.
