TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming private day nursery in Leicester that is looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant to join their team. The setting provides a supportive and engaging environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore and develop through play.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Assistant on a part-time basis for 25 hours per week, with working days varying each week depending on the needs of the setting. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children across the nursery, help provide age-appropriate activities, assist with daily routines and contribute to a safe, positive and stimulating environment.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
• A minimum of 6 months’ experience working within a nursery setting
• Good knowledge of the EYFS
• A caring and enthusiastic approach
• The flexibility to work varying days each week
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
