TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large mainstream secondary school based in Stockport who are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher. The school provides education for students across the secondary age range and is looking for a committed teacher who can positively contribute to the school environment.

The school is looking to take on a Maths Teacher on a long-term basis from September, teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Maths Teacher will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively and support students of varying abilities with their progress.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Maths specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)

• Experience teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4

• Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum

• Excellent classroom management

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
