Warehouse Operative – Derbyshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client based at Westminster Industrial Estate, Repton Road, Measham, Swadlincote.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy healthcare warehouse offering ongoing work, weekly pay and a great working environment.

The role would suit candidates with previous experience as a Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Assistant, Picker Packer, PPT Operative, Loading Operative, or General Warehouse Operative.

Shifts: Monday to Friday - 08:00 – 16:30

Rates of Pay: £13.25 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

•  Picking and packing healthcare products and warehouse orders
•  Loading and unloading goods
•  Wrapping and preparing pallets for dispatch
•  Moving stock around the warehouse
•  Receiving and checking incoming goods
•  Organising stock and preparing orders for delivery
•  Supporting general warehouse duties as required
•  Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
•  Following all health and safety procedures
•  The role involves general warehouse duties and is not particularly heavy, although some manual handling will be required.

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

•  Previous warehouse experience is desirable
•  Good attention to detail
•  Ability to follow instructions and work accurately
•  Reliable and hardworking approach
•  Good communication skills
•  Ability to work effectively as part of a team
•  Flexibility to undertake a variety of warehouse duties

Desirable Experience

•  Previous warehouse experience
•  PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) experience
•  Picking and packing experience
•  Loading and unloading experience
•  Pallet wrapping experience
•  PPT experience is highly desirable and would be a major advantage.

•  Ongoing support throughout your assignment
•  Training on site procedures and warehouse processes
