The Role

As Clinical Lead Nurse, you will work closely with the Home Manager and nursing team to ensure the highest standards of clinical care are maintained across the service.

You will provide leadership, guidance, and support to nurses and care staff while promoting best practice, person-centred care, and continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the nursing and care teams on a daily basis.
Deliver and promote exceptional clinical care standards.
Support the management of residents with elderly care, dementia care, and complex care needs.
Assist with care planning, clinical governance, and quality assurance processes.
Ensure medication management and clinical procedures are completed safely and effectively.
Support staff development, mentoring, and clinical supervision.
Promote compliance with CQC regulations and best practice standards.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

Essential Requirements:
Active NMC PIN (RGN, RMN, or RNLD).
Previous nursing experience within a care home, nursing home, elderly care, dementia care, or complex care setting.
Strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality care.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Passion for delivering person-centred care.

Desirable
Previous experience as a Clinical Lead Nurse, Senior Nurse, Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, or Deputy Manager.
Experience supporting elderly residents, dementia care services, or complex nursing care.
Experience with clinical audits, governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
