The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from September, working with pupils across both Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers to support learning throughout the school day, assist pupils during classroom activities and provide focused 1-2-1 support to individual children when required.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children within a primary school or similar educational setting
• Experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and/or Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Confidence providing 1-2-1 support and working with small groups of pupils
• The ability to follow teacher guidance and support pupils with classroom activities and learning tasks
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A patient, encouraging and adaptable approach, with a genuine enthusiasm for supporting children
