The Role

As a Paint Technician, you will be responsible for producing high-quality paint finishes, ensuring every vehicle is completed to manufacturer standards and customer expectations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing vehicles for paintwork, including sanding, masking, and priming

• Mixing paint to achieve accurate colour matches

• Applying paint using modern water-based paint systems

• Carrying out full vehicle resprays and paint repairs

• Inspecting completed work to ensure a flawless finish

• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

• Working efficiently to achieve productivity and quality targets

• Following all health and safety procedures

About You

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Paint Technician, Paint Sprayer, Vehicle Paint Sprayer, Paint Refinisher, or Bodyshop Paint Sprayer

• Extensive experience using water-based paint systems

• A City & Guilds qualification or equivalent

• Strong knowledge of modern paint application and vehicle repair techniques

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship

• A stable employment history within a Bodyshop or Accident Repair Centre

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
