1:1 Learning Support Assistant – Secondary

Milk Education is seeking a compassionate, dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to work across our fantastic Liverpool secondary schools. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with additional learning needs, helping them reach their full potential in a mainstream school environment.

About the Role

As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide personalised, tailored support to a pupil with additional needs.
• Assist with behaviour regulation, emotional support and learning engagement.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams.
• Help adapt lesson materials to meet individual learning styles.
• Support the pupil both in and out of the classroom to promote independence and confidence.

We’re Looking For…

• Experience supporting children or young people (school‑based or similar setting).
• A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Resilience and a genuine passion for inclusion.
• Teamwork, commitment, and a proactive attitude.
