Do you have experience supporting children or young people with additional needs, or transferable skills from care, youth work, or support settings? Milk Education is recruiting SEN Learning Support Assistants to work across welcoming secondary schools in Gateshead and the surrounding areas, with opportunities available from September on a term-time basis. The RoleAs an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you'll provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them to access learning, build confidence, and reach their full potential. Working closely with teachers and SEND teams, you'll support students on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, and within the classroom to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
