Salary: £14.25 - £16.50 per hour

TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a welcoming nursery in West Bridgford (NG2) that is looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Practitioner on a full-time basis. The nursery provides a warm, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn through exploration, creativity and play, supported by an experienced and friendly Early Years team.

This full-time Nursery Practitioner role offers a variety of shift patterns between 8:00am and 6:00pm. You will support children across the Early Years setting, delivering activities linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), encouraging learning through continuous provision, leading small group activities and providing personal care where required. An understanding of the Early Years Curriculum, play-based learning and the Early Learning Goals is essential. A driving licence is beneficial but not essential.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification, or a minimum of six months' recent experience working within an Early Years setting.
• A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the Early Learning Goals.
• Experience supporting children's learning through continuous provision and play-based learning.
• Confidence leading small group activities and supporting children's development.
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
