Learning Support Assistants

📍 Location: Liverpool (L6)

The Role

As a General Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers in KS1 to provide consistent, compassionate support throughout the school day. You will help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child is supported to thrive both academically and emotionally.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
  • Assist with sensory integration, communication needs, and emotional regulation
  • Implement structured routines and behaviour support strategies
  • Foster pupil independence, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other Learning Support Assistants (LSAs)

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting children within the last 12 months with a school, nursery, youth centre, community, social care setting  or similar 
  • A calm, patient, and proactive approach
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and making a positive difference
