Veterinary Surgeon – Isle of Wight

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and ambitious Veterinary Surgeon to join a highly regarded veterinary team on the beautiful Isle of Wight. This full-time role offers an excellent work-life balance with a unique 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rota, making it ideal for vets looking to develop their career while enjoying more quality time away from work.

The practice welcomes applications from veterinary surgeons with a wide range of interests, particularly those with a surgical bias, surgical experience or an interest in exotics. Whether looking to build existing skills or develop a new clinical focus, this practice provides the support, mentorship and facilities to help achieve professional goals.

Based within a modern RCVS-accredited veterinary hospital supported by three branch practices, the successful candidate will have access to outstanding facilities including CT scanner, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital and dental radiography, in-house laboratories and dedicated surgical suites. The branches feed into the hospital, where a dedicated out-of-hours team provides overnight patient care.

Professional development is at the heart of the practice. Veterinary Surgeons benefit from structured mentoring, regular clinical meetings, case discussions, in-house CPD days and the opportunity to work alongside certificate holders in Surgery, Cardiology, Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine and Dermatology. Fully funded certificate support is available for those wishing to further their expertise.
