HGV Class 2 Driver

Location: Essex & Kent
Hours: Monday to Friday
Start Time: 6:00am
Pay: £16.00 per hour
Guaranteed: Minimum 10 hours' pay per shift

KPI Recruiting are currently looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a well-established pallet distribution company with depots across Essex and Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable drivers looking for regular Monday to Friday work with guaranteed hours.

Your duties will include:

• Carrying out multi-drop pallet deliveries and collections.
• Driving a curtain-sided, tail lift vehicle using a pump truck.
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure before and during transport.
• Completing daily vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Reporting any vehicle defects or operational issues promptly.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points.
• Some handball may be required as part of the role.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Full UK Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• 6 months to 1 year's Class 2 driving experience is preferred, although newly qualified or less experienced drivers will also be considered.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no major endorsements).
• Safety boots and a high-visibility vest.
