Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

Full Time – Temporary – Immediate Start or September 2026

Salary: £500-£560 per week

On behalf of an inclusive and supportive school in the Sheffield area, we are recruiting a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a role suitable for recent or upcoming graduates with a desire to work within the special educational needs sector.

The role we’re hiring for:

• Full time role on a temporary contract
• Competitive salary
• Working with SEN pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Supporting classroom teachers in the delivery of exciting and engaging learning experiences

Who are we looking for?

• Graduates with a 2:2 degree or higher in a relevant field (Education, Psychology or Core Subjects preferred)
• Compassionate individuals with recent experience working with children and young people
• Candidates with knowledge or experience in working with pupils with additional needs
• Must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
