A friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Salford is looking for a dedicated graduate to join their team as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils both academically and emotionally for the remainder of the academic year.

Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

  • Full-time role starting ASAP through to the end of the academic year
  • Weekly earnings of £500–£560 as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant
  • Long-term opportunity in a Salford primary school
  • Supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2 as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant
  • Ideal experience for aspiring Educational Psychologists, SEN specialists, or future teachers
  • Minimum 2:1 degree in Psychology (or related field) required
  • Prior experience with children (school-based, tutoring, youth work, or voluntary) highly desirable

You’ll gain first-hand experience of how psychological theory translates into practice within a classroom setting.

The ideal candidate will be empathetic, proactive, and confident in building relationships with young people. A genuine passion for supporting children’s development is essential for any successful Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant.
