And right now, we’re looking for a Compliance Analyst - 12 Months Fixed Term Contract. Based at our Stoke Poges site location, the role of the Compliance Analyst is to support the Corporate Compliance Manager in effectively managing the compliance risks posed within the Group.

The role will ensure that counterparty due diligence and periodic reviews are completed in a timely manner and compliance with various regulations such as the UK Bribery Act, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Modern Slavery Act.
Liaise with front office personnel to understand and approve counterparties for proposed transactions.

Assist with developing new methods to report key compliance metrics to senior management and prepare papers for committee meetings.
This role is a full-time, permanent role and requires an individual that is interested in a challenging new opportunity where they will be able to utilise and develop analytical and investigative skills.


What will your day look like?

• Conduct due diligence using various third party and internal databases. This includes ascertaining the nature of an entitys role in a transaction and producing corporate trees to ascertain beneficial ownership and subsidiary holdings.
• Responsibility for deploying group-wide computer-based compliance training
• Review and adhere to internal compliance policies and procedures and ensure they comply with applicable legislation and regulations.
• Assist in drafting and documenting procedures, policies and processes as necessary
• Assisting with all compliance matters and day to day administrative tasks
• Clearing due diligence monitoring alerts on a daily basis
• Reviewing regulatory and commercial developments and providing updates to the Corporate Compliance Manager.

What do you need to be great at this role?

• The successful candidate will be a degree holder or have analytical experience.
• Compliance/professional qualification is desirable.
• Knowledge of the nuclear enrichment sector is beneficial but not essential.
• Recent Graduate or
• 3-5 years’ compliance experience within the financial, energy or insurance sector.
• Competent MS Office user, including Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• Experience of SAP or other ERP systems desirable.
• Effectively utilise research applications such as Lexis Diligence, Orbis, World Check and Dun & Bradstreet
• Excellent organizational skills and a high attention to detail.
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Can confidently and clearly explain problems and issues and contribute to their resolution.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel with tact and diplomacy.
