SEND Learning Support Assistant / Support worker

Milk Education is recruiting a caring and dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant to support pupils aged 2–19 within a specialist educational setting in Harrogate.

You’ll support pupils with a range of SEND and complex learning needs, helping them access learning, develop independence and build confidence. You must be comfortable with Personal care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support.
• Support learning, communication and development.
• Promote independence and positive behaviour.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Work closely with teaching staff to meet individual needs.
• Support pupils with their personal and social development.
• Personal care is required

About You

• Experience working with SEND, complex needs or specialist settings is desirable.
• Patient, caring and resilient.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience as a TA, LSA, support worker, carer or similar is beneficial.
