Educational Support Worker

Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs? We are seeking dedicated, nurturing and resilient Learning Support Assistants to join our supportive and child‑centred specialist school in Kirkby.

The Role

  • Support pupils with personalised learning, communication and life‑skills development
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups depending on needs
  • Assist with personal care routines where required
  • Contribute to creating a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment
  • Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour using positive, relationship‑based approaches
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and other support staff

 

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced SEND Teaching Assistants
  • Support workers from care or residential backgrounds
  • Graduates considering a career in teaching, psychology, therapy or SEND
  • Candidates with a passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people
