Trainee Occupational Health Technician – London & Southeast Salary: £25,000 – £30,000+ depending on experience and qualifications We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Health Technician to join a growing team, supporting the delivery of occupational health, health surveillance and wellbeing services across client sites throughout London and the Southeast. This is a varied, hands-on role offering excellent opportunities for someone looking to build a career in occupational health. Previous occupational health experience is desirable but not essential, as full training, shadowing and mentoring will be provided. A degree in Sports Science, Exercise Science or a related subject would be particularly useful, as this provides a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology and health assessment. The Role You will travel to client sites across London and the Southeast, supporting the delivery of a range of occupational health screening and wellbeing services. You will work closely with the clinical team and, following training and competency sign-off, will be expected to work independently at client sites. Your responsibilities will include:
Training & Development Full training and support will be provided. Initial training will generally be based in Maple Cross, followed by structured shadowing and mentoring across client sites throughout London and the Southeast. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills across occupational health screening, health surveillance, wellbeing and health promotion. As your competency develops, you will progress towards working more independently at client sites. The role includes ongoing learning and competency assessment to support your professional development. About You We are interested in candidates who are reliable, personable and keen to develop a career in occupational health. You may already have occupational health or health surveillance experience, but we are also happy to consider candidates from related backgrounds. A Sports Science, Exercise Science, Health Science or related degree would be highly advantageous.
