Salary: £160 - £250 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ mainstream secondary school in Levenshulme. The school is looking for a confident Design Technology Teacher who can contribute positively to the department and support pupils across KS3 and KS4.

The school is looking to appoint a Design Technology Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis, starting after October half term. You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, with any Design Technology specialism considered, alongside marking, assessment and maintaining high expectations for pupil progress.

The successful Design Technology Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (essential)
• Experience teaching Design Technology across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong subject knowledge in any Design Technology specialism
• The ability to plan, deliver, mark and assess engaging lessons
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication skills and an adaptable, enthusiastic approach
