We are looking for an experienced Senior Parts Sales Advisor to join a professional commercial vehicle parts operation in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Parts Sales Advisor who wants to develop their career within a busy, customer-focused parts department.

The Role

As a Senior Parts Sales Advisor, you will play an important role in supporting customers, developing parts sales and helping to maintain an efficient and well-organised parts department.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing parts enquiries and providing accurate identification and information
• Advising customers on suitable parts and solutions
• Supporting and developing parts sales to help achieve branch targets
• Providing 24-hour call-out support as part of a rota
• Assisting with stockroom and inventory duties
• Supporting all areas of the parts department as required
• Liaising with customers and responding to queries professionally
• Keeping customers updated on the progress of their enquiries and orders
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is processed efficiently
• Supporting departmental quality and customer service standards
• Maintaining an organised and professional parts department
• Ensuring good health and safety practices are followed
• Completing training and development activities as required
• Supporting the wider team and undertaking other reasonable duties when required

About You

We're looking for a Senior Parts Sales Advisor who can demonstrate:

• Previous experience in a similar parts role
• Experience working within a busy automotive, commercial vehicle or truck-related environment
• Good parts knowledge and the ability to identify the correct components
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A professional telephone manner
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good organisational and administration skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• A proactive approach to maintaining high customer service standards
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A valid right to work in the UK

Previous experience as a Senior Parts Sales Advisor within the commercial vehicle sector would be particularly advantageous.
