Shift Maintenance Engineer Johnstone, Glasgow Brightwork is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer and supplier of self-adhesive labels, ticket, and tag materials to the UK and European labelling sector. Based in Johnstone, near Glasgow, our client supplies high-quality materials to printers and converters who produce finished labelling solutions for a diverse range of industries and end users. As a business with a long-standing reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service, they are now seeking a skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer to join their established Engineering team. The Role Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and availability of production plant, machinery, and equipment across the site. Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for both reactive and preventative maintenance activities, ensuring equipment downtime is minimised and production targets are consistently achieved. This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served engineer with an electrical bias who enjoys a varied role and is comfortable working across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Working Hours The position operates on a three-shift continuous rotation, averaging 39 hours and 40 minutes per week: Night Shift
Early Shift
Back Shift
