Your day could involve supporting a pupil through a personalised learning programme, delivering a targeted intervention, helping a young person regulate their emotions or adapting classroom activities to make learning more accessible. You'll learn to observe behaviour, recognise individual needs and understand why different approaches work for different pupils. For an aspiring Educational Psychologist or SEN Teacher, that experience can be invaluable. Who Are We Looking For? Applications are particularly encouraged from graduates in: Psychology | Education | Childhood Studies | Neuroscience | Linguistics | Sociology | Science | English and related disciplines A 2:1 or First-Class degree is highly desirable. Previous SEND experience is beneficial but isn't essential. More importantly, you'll need patience, resilience, emotional maturity and excellent communication skills. You'll need to celebrate small victories, remain consistent when situations are challenging and genuinely want to understand the young people you're supporting. Turn Your Degree Into Meaningful Experience If your future lies in Educational Psychology, SEN teaching, child development or specialist education, this is an opportunity to start building the experience behind that ambition.
