TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Bradford who are looking to appoint a Secondary Teaching Assistant. The school provides an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students across KS3 and KS4, including young people with SEND who require additional support.

The school is looking to take on a Secondary Teaching Assistant for day-to-day or long-term work with an Immediate Start. The successful Secondary Teaching Assistant will work across KS3 and KS4, providing classroom and 1:1 support to students with SEND while helping them access learning, develop their confidence and make positive progress.

The successful Secondary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience supporting students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Experience supporting young people with SEND
• Experience providing 1:1 support
• A patient, adaptable and supportive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
