The Role
As a Senior Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out complex repairs and maintaining vehicles to a high standard, with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
·Carrying out advanced diagnostics and fault-finding
·Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical faults
·Completing servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs
·Working independently to identify faults and determine appropriate repairs
·Working on both cars and commercial vehicles
·Using diagnostic equipment and technical information effectively
·Completing repairs accurately and efficiently
·Ensuring all work meets required safety and quality standards
·Maintaining accurate job records and paperwork
·Supporting the wider workshop team where required
 
About You
We're looking for an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician with strong technical ability and confidence working independently.
You'll ideally have:
·Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
·Strong previous automotive industry experience
·Manufacturer training or extensive hands-on experience
·Experience working on commercial vehicles
·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
·Experience carrying out complex mechanical and electrical repairs
·Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
·Own tools
·Full UK Driving Licence
·Professional, reliable and team-focused approach
