Working Pattern

• 3 Week Rotation
• Week 1: Early morning flight to arrive on site no later than noon on Monday. (Monday 12pm – 4pm & Tuesday – Saturday 7am – 4pm)
• Week 2: Monday to Saturday (Monday - Saturday 7am – 4pm)
• Week 3: Monday to Wednesday (Monday – Tuesday 7am – 4pm & Wednesday 7am – 11:30am). Travel home Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday off.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the management and delivery of electrical works throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Lead daily electrical construction activities on site, coordinating closely with the wider project delivery team.
• Maintain effective QA/QC controls, ensuring electrical works comply with approved specifications, quality requirements and project standards.
• Work with planners, project managers, subcontractors, consultants and design disciplines to coordinate electrical activities against the overall construction programme.
• Direct and monitor electrical subcontractor performance, including progress, workforce planning, resourcing and regular coordination reviews.
• Ensure subcontractor records are properly controlled and all required technical, project and Health & Safety documentation remains current.
• Lead and participate in key project meetings, including site coordination sessions, engineering reviews, programme meetings and handover activities.
• Interface with the design function to ensure drawings, construction information and technical submissions are released in accordance with programme priorities.
• Review electrical drawings and technical submissions, ensuring systems and associated interfaces are properly coordinated ahead of installation.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, encouraging safe working practices across all electrical construction activities.
• Assist with commercial oversight by monitoring variations, supporting cost control and participating in regular commercial reviews.
• Produce and communicate project progress reports to senior management and relevant project stakeholders.
• Manage electrical snagging and outstanding works, ensuring items are recorded, monitored and closed within the required timescales.
• Anticipate technical, design and coordination challenges and lead the process of achieving appropriate and timely solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or another comparable engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 7+ years' experience within electrical construction, with demonstrable experience leading teams and site delivery.
• Proven track record managing electrical systems and packages on major construction developments.
• Strong understanding of electrical coordination, construction sequencing and programme management.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, communication and coordination capabilities.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods and commissioning activities.
• Demonstrable ability to lead subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams while maintaining delivery against programme and project objectives.
• Previous experience within data centre, industrial or mission-critical environments would be advantageous.
