TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in Leeds, who are looking to appoint a Primary Teaching Assistant. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable individual who can provide effective classroom and 1:1 support while helping pupils to engage positively with their learning.

The school is looking to take on a Primary Teaching Assistant for day-to-day or long-term work, with an Immediate Start. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will support pupils across KS1 and KS2, including providing 1:1 support for children with SEND and working alongside class teachers to meet individual learning needs.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience working with children across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Experience providing 1:1 support to pupils with SEND
• Strong knowledge of supporting learning within a primary classroom
• Excellent communication skills
• A patient, adaptable and positive approach
