What Will You Be Doing?

As a Primary Teacher, your responsibilities will vary depending on the school, year group and type of placement.

You may be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging, effective lessons
• Teaching in line with the Curriculum for Wales
• Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom
• Differentiating and adapting teaching to meet individual pupil needs
• Supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
• Assessing learning and monitoring pupil progress
• Maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour
• Building positive relationships with pupils
• Working collaboratively with teaching and support staff
• Communicating effectively with parents, carers and the wider school community
• Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking to speak with Primary Teachers who have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Primary teaching experience
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to plan and deliver effective lessons
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
• A commitment to inclusive education and pupil progress
• A genuine passion for helping children learn and develop

Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) are welcome to apply.
