Breakfast Chef - Falmouth

We are looking for a Breakfast Chef to join an award-winning, small luxury hotel and restaurant in Falmouth.

📍 Location: Falmouth
👨‍🍳 Role: Breakfast Chef
📅 Hours: 5 days per week
⏰ Shift: 5:30am - 1:30pm with potential to work evenings as well
💷 Pay: £14-16 per hour dependant on experience
🚗 Parking: Available on site + excellent benefits a retention bonuses

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded hotel, working as part of a professional kitchen team delivering exceptional breakfast service in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking a high-quality breakfast service, including cooked-to-order and buffet items.
• Ensuring all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
• Organising and setting up the kitchen ready for service.
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and food safety standards.
• Managing stock levels, stock rotation, and minimising food waste.
• Preparing ingredients and completing daily mise en place.
• Working efficiently during busy service periods.
• Supporting the wider kitchen team with preparation for later services when required.
• Ensuring all equipment is used safely and kept clean.
• Following all health & safety and HACCP procedures.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef, Chef de Partie, or Commis Chef in a quality hotel or restaurant.
• Able to work independently and manage a busy morning service.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Passionate about fresh food and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to start work at 5:30am.
• Food Hygiene certification is desirable.
