TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School in Leeds who are looking to appoint a Primary HLTA. The school provides a supportive mainstream learning environment and is looking for a confident and adaptable practitioner who can positively engage pupils across the primary age range.

The school is looking to take on a Primary HLTA for short-term day-to-day cover, with an immediate start. The successful Primary HLTA will work across KS1 and KS2, supporting teaching and learning, leading classes when required and using strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.

The successful Primary HLTA will have:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant qualification
• Experience working across KS1 and KS2
• Experience leading learning within a primary classroom
• Excellent classroom management
• Confident leadership and communication skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
