POWER PRESS SETTER – PUWER TRAINED

Owen Payne Recruitment Services are delighted to be recruiting for experienced Power Press Setters on behalf of our prestigious client based in the Oldbury (B69) area.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

Candidates MUST have:

• Recent, hands-on experience setting Power Presses
• Previous experience within a steel manufacturing environment
• PUWER training

Please note: This experience must be recent and directly relevant. Candidates without the required experience will not be considered.

KEY DUTIES

• Setting and operating power press machines
• Reading and working from technical drawings
• Banding steel together
• Fitting and adjusting tooling
• Carrying out machine changeovers
• Identifying and reporting faults
• Quality checking finished products
• General machine and workplace housekeeping
• Removing and disposing of scrap/coil ends into designated areas or bins
• Ensuring finished goods are correctly stored
• Carrying out other duties appropriate to the role

SET SHIFTS AVAILABLE

Mornings: Monday to Friday — 05:45–13:45

Afternoons: Monday to Thursday — 14:00–23:00
Friday — 14:00–17:30

Nights: Sunday to Thursday — 22:00–06:00
