TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Cylch Meithrin in Blaenau Gwent, providing a welcoming Welsh-language early years environment for children aged 2-4. The setting is looking for a Nursery Assistant who can use basic Welsh and provide positive, engaging support to young children.

The Cylch Meithrin is looking to take on a Level 3 Nursery Assistant on a temporary, part-time basis, working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 8:45am until 12:15pm. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children aged 2-4 with their learning, development and daily activities, helping to provide a safe and nurturing environment.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
• Experience working with children aged 2-4
• Basic Welsh language skills
• A good understanding of early years practice
• A caring and enthusiastic approach
• Reliability and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
