TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist school in Swindon that provides a supportive and inclusive environment where every student is encouraged to thrive. Students are taught through a combination of small group learning and 1:1 support, with a strong emphasis on building confidence, developing independence and creating a genuine sense of family and belonging.

The school is looking to appoint a part-time SEND Learning Support Assistant on an ongoing basis, starting ASAP. The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant will support students with a range of additional needs both in the classroom and on a 1:1 basis, helping to deliver a holistic learning experience while working closely with an experienced and dedicated staff team.

The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND

• A patient, caring and compassionate approach

• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A proactive attitude and willingness to support across a range of learning activities

• A genuine passion for helping young people reach their potential
