Salary: £85.50 - £92.63 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large school based in Cardiff with a dedicated ASD base. The school provides a supportive environment for pupils with ALN, including children and young people with Autism / ASD.

The school is looking to take on a Learning Support Assistant on a full-time, temporary basis with an ASAP start. The successful Learning Support Assistant will support pupils within the ASD base, helping with their learning, development and individual needs, with personal care required at times.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children and young people with Autism / ASD

• Experience supporting pupils with ALN

• Experience or confidence providing personal care

• A patient and resilient approach

• Strong communication skills

• A caring and adaptable attitude
